At Maine Dentistry, Dr. Lawlor has established a unique approach focused on comfort, quality, and no judgment experiences. Dr. Katie Clark was born and raised in Maine. She attended the University of Maine, graduating at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Clark went on to earn her D.M.D. degree from the University of New England.
Becoming a dentist has been Dr. Clark’s dream career since she saw a change in her own smile through orthodontics during her early teen years. Katie recalls being self-conscious of her smile growing up and enjoyed going to her dental appointments with the knowledge she was one step closer to a beautiful smile. Although Dr. Clark was only 15 years old at the time, she knew helping others confidence in their own smiles was her calling, and she is proud to realize her lifelong goal as a certified dentist.
Dr. Clark is dedicated to researching modern dental trends to provide the best, individualized care to her patients. Dentistry is not just a career, but a passion for Dr. Clark with a focus on providing a comfortable experience for patients who want to achieve their dream smile.
In her free time, Dr. Clark enjoys playing with her dog Boomer, trying new restaurants in Portland, and trying new recipes in the kitchen (suggestions are always welcome). An avid lover of all Maine’s seasons, her summer activities find her enjoying time by the water and in winter, snowmobiling with her family or attempting to ski.
Studied at Case Western Reserve University. As an undergraduate she majored in Nutrition with minors in Business Management and Chemistry. Dr. Mini’s received her doctorate through her alma mater at Case Western Reserve as well. She then continued her education with a post doctoral residency program in advanced general dentistry with the University of the Pacific. Her dedication to continued learning stems from the desire to master advanced dental practices and improve treatment for her patients.
Dr. Minisandram, (many find it easier to call her Dr. Mini), is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Maine Dental Association (MDA), California Dental Association (CDA), the Santa Clara Dental Society, and is currently working on her fellowship with The Academy Of General Dentistry. She’s committed to caring for her patients, but also sees the importance of community involvement. Her participation in community events such as CDA Cares and Give Special Kids a Smile Day are both a joy and an honor.
Dr. Mini believes dentistry is a blend of both technical and artistic skill – a satisfying profession that allows her to utilize both her creative ability and medical expertise. This dual focus leaves her patients with a concrete functionality and cosmetic nuance that will allow them to better enjoy their oral health as well as an improved life!
Health is her profession, her passion, and her pastime. For relaxation, Dr. Mini enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and golden retriever puppy! Her hobbies include running, yoga, and cycling.
